What is geocahing? Geocaching is a high-tech treasure hunting game played throughout the world by adventure seekers equipped with GPS devices. The basic idea is to locate hidden containers, called geocaches, outdoors and then share your experiences online. Geocaching is enjoyed by people from all age groups, with a strong sense of community and support for the environment. Be Prepared!
Camping is one of the most relaxing and enjoyable outdoor activities you can
participate in. It can also be one of the most miserable if you don't select the right
equipment. The first thing you want to do before you go camping is to make a list
of all the gear you'll need to take with you. Don't do this the day before you go
camping, as you might forget something when making your list and not have
enough time to correct it before you go camping. Make your list in advance so you
have enough time to double check it before you go camping.
You must be very picky when
choosing your gear. Nothing can
ruin a hike/camping trip than
carrying a pack that is too heavy
for you. Also, for anyone new to hiking through the woods, BEWARE! Be sure to look at a few good pictures of poison ivy, poison oak, and poison sumac.
